Product Description

The leakage alarm with SMS is a compact and reliable system specifically designed to detect water leaks in places where mains power is not available, such as leaks on boats. The alarm features a sensitive electronic water sensor and a built-in GSM alarm notifier, enabling it to communicate directly via the GSM network.

Thanks to the sensitive water sensor, the leakage alarm can accurately detect water as soon as the sensor becomes wet. The system utilizes the GSM network to immediately send an SMS message when a leak is detected. Additionally, it has a built-in battery with a long lifespan due to its very low power consumption, allowing the alarm to remain operational continuously.

Application

The water sensor is connected to the leakage alarm via a flexible cable with a plug. As an additional option, extension cables of 5 or 10 meters are available, increasing the maximum distance between the sensor and the GSM notifier to 11.5 meters. This provides flexibility in placing the sensor at the desired location.

The leakage alarm allows setting 1 to 5 different phone numbers, to which an SMS message and/or a call will be automatically sent in the event of an alarm. The system will call the set numbers one by one until someone answers. This enables quick action to be taken in the event of a water leak, even if the user is not in close proximity to the leakage.

With a set of batteries, the leakage alarm can operate for at least 1 year and even sends an SMS message when the batteries are running low. The system can also be connected to an external 12 Vdc power supply, such as the battery voltage of the boat or camper/caravan, and can even detect power outages, which often indicate something unusual is happening.

The leakage alarm also offers various other features and capabilities, such as setting automatic on/off times, personalizing alarm texts per input, setting alarm delays, performing test notifications, and more. Batteries are included, making the system ready to use right away.

You can use the GSM water alarm fully standalone with a 2G SIM card (subscription or prepaid). The package includes a Mobeye SIM card (4G), which can be activated online for a subscription to the Mobeye Internet Portal. This grants access to additional features, such as online programming and monitoring of test notifications. This can be particularly useful for marinas or other situations where more extensive monitoring and management are desired.
