GSM alarm contact for burglary alarm
With this GSM alarm contact you can secure a door, window, drawer, cabinet, etc. As soon as someone opens this object, you can receive a notification on your mobile phone. This alarm contact is resistant to a humid or wet environment.
Install GSM alarm contact
The alarm contact consists of 2 surface-mounted parts in a small, inconspicuous housing. These can be screwed, glued or mounted with double-sided tape.
Place one block, containing a magnet, on the moving part (door or window). The other block comes on the fixed part, in such a way that (when closed) there is a few mm distance. Tip: use a universal meter (ohm position) to check the operation.
Connect to GSM alarm dialer
You can connect 1 or 2 of these contacts to the corresponding GSM alarm dialer. The GSM alarm dialer sends an SMS message and/or a call when one of the contacts starts moving, for example because the relevant door is opened.
You can extend the 2-meter connection cable with a normal 2-wire signal cable. The GSM alarm dialer can safely be placed at a distance of up to 50 m.
