This 4G communication detector has a temperature sensor for monitoring rooms, cooling equipment or heating.
The temperature control is e.g. useful to prevent frost damage. Especially for outdoor use, there is the Night Frost Detector.
Applications
External sensor monitors temperature
The sensor continuously measures its ambient temperature and records any deviation. If the on-site temperature is too high or too low, you receive a phone call or an alert by SMS.
You programme the MIN and MAX values using your smartphone. If the set limit is exceeded, the detector sends a text message with the current temperature on site.
A telephone alarm notification can be set for 1 to 5 different numbers, both mobile and fixed.
Battery-powered temperature alarm
The 4G communication detector temperature does not depend on mains voltage. Its power consumption is very low and it runs for more than a year on the batteries provided.
With the optional mains adapter (see image), this 4G communication detector can also operate on 230 volts. This has the advantage that you will also be notified in case of mains power failure. This is a particularly important option for cooling equipment.
Suitable for any SIM card
The wireless temperature alarm includes a 4G module, for which you can use any normal SIM card, whether subscription or prepaid.
In addition to the connection for the external temperature sensor, there are 2 voltage-free alarm inputs. Each voltage-free switching contact can serve to generate an alarm, such as an alarm contact to protect a (cold store) door or a window.
4G communication detector
The 4G communication detector sends an SMS message and/or a call set by you. For this, you can set up to 5 different phone numbers to be called in case of an alarm. Once one of these confirms the alarm call, the other numbers are no longer called.
Runs on batteries or mains adapter
The 4G communication detector runs for at least one year on a set of batteries and notifies itself when they are low.
In combination with an external adapter (choose option: with mains supply + cable), you will also receive an SMS message when the mains voltage fails. This is often the first indication that something special is going on.
Temperature alarm setting options
The 4G communication detector has many setting options, temperature limits, alarm texts of your own choice, alarm repetition and alarm delay and the SMS texts.
Batteries are included; service life at least 1 year. With an ordinary SIM card, it is immediately deployable.
Tip: Using your own mobile phone, you can check in advance whether the provider offers sufficient signal at the desired location.
You need to purchase the SIM card yourself (2G) or the standard 4G SIM card provided by the manufacturer.
