The Mobeye WaterGuard is an effective and user-friendly alarm detector for sensing water-based liquids. In an alarm situation, it sends notifications via a push message, telephone call, SMS or email.
The leak alarm with SMS is a compact and reliable system specifically designed to detect water leaks in places where mains power is not available, such as leaks on boats. The alarm is equipped with a sensitive electronic water sensor and a built-in GSM alarm dialler, allowing it to communicate directly via the GSM network.
Thanks to the sensitive water sensor, the leakage alarm can accurately detect water as soon as the sensor gets wet. The system uses the GSM network to immediately send an SMS message when a leak is detected.

Functionalities
The water sensor is connected to the leak alarm via a flexible cable with a plug. As an optional extra, 5 or 10 metre extension cables are available, which allows the maximum distance between the sensor and the GSM alert device to be increased to 11.5 metres. This provides flexibility when placing the sensor in the desired location.
Battery-powered water detector
The Mobeye WaterGuard monitors the water level in cellars, pump houses, boats, and other critical locations. The additional inputs can monitor a pump, fault signal, and power supply. Operates on battery power or external voltage.
With a set of batteries, the leakage alarm can operate for at least 1 year, and it even sends an SMS message when the batteries are running low. The system can also be connected to an external 12 Vdc power supply, such as the battery voltage of a boat or motorhome/caravan, and can even detect power failure, which is often an indication that something unusual is happening.
Alarm alerts
The leak alarm also offers various other functions and capabilities, such as setting automatic on and off times, personalising alarm texts per input, setting alarm delays, performing test notifications, and more. Batteries are included, making the system ready for immediate use.
You can use the GSM water alarm completely standalone with a 2G SIM card (contract or prepaid). A Mobeye SIM card (4G) is included in the packaging, which you can activate online for a subscription to the Mobeye Internet Portal. This will give you access to additional features, such as online programming and monitoring of test notifications. This can be particularly interesting for marinas or other situations where more extensive monitoring and management are desired.

Added value sim/portal
As a SIM card, we recommend activating the included Mobeye SIM card. With this, the device communicates via both 4G LTE-M and 2G and ís “multi-provider”. It chooses the strongest network on site, has very good penetrability and thus gives a reliable connection. With the Mobeye SIM card, the device is also connected to the Mobeye Portal and the Mobeye Messages app. This gives extra security and user-friendliness. The dashboard shows the status of one or more devices at a glance. Programming is done online, incoming test messages are checked automatically, in case of problems contacts are alerted via app, call, SMS and/or e-mail. Forwarding to a control room (PAC) is also possible. The SIM card costs €4/month* excluding VAT (flat fee for normal use), (annual) payment is online, or -on request- by invoice. An own SIM card is also possible (NL: KPN or Vodafone, no t-Mobile or subsidiaries). The device then works (only) via 2G and the Mobeye Portal functions are cancelled. On alarm it will call and/or text (to max. 5 numbers). Note that a prepaid card expires if the card is not used for too long.
