This aluminium tape is specifically designed for attaching de-icing cable to water pipes. It is particularly suitable for pipes made of plastic, where it ensures better heat transfer and conductivity. By wrapping the tape around the entire pipe and attaching the de-icing cable with it, effective heat transfer is achieved. Generally, one layer of tape is sufficient to achieve the desired results.
