Product description
Lime removal is possible in several ways. The electronic softener is a modern method of limescale removal.
This device literally solves limescale problems. It is powerful enough for the entire installation in a home or restaurant. Tip: also check the limescale neutraliser.
Applications
Working principle electronic descaler
The electronic softener contains a signal generator that applies a magnetic field around and inside the water pipe, based on capacitive impulse technology. This field has a variable resonant frequency, causing the water in the pipe to lose its tendency to deposit limescale.
The limescale particles are bound to the iron particles and then come out with the water. This technology gives better results than an anti-scaling magnet or an electromagnetic limescale remover.
The electronic descaler works completely maintenance-free but is not suitable for installation in damp rooms. The generator is microprocessor-controlled and you can set it to six different frequency ranges. This allows you to select the most effective setting for your own situation.
The optimum setting depends on the hardness of the water, the flow rate, the pipe material and the diameter of the pipe, among other things.
Tip: choose the automatic mode first and try later (after at least 2 months) if one of the other modes gives better results. Choose the highest frequency if the water is very hard.
Drinking water quality
Electronic water treatment is not only effective but also environmentally friendly. The main argument is that no substances are extracted or added to the water. The quality and composition of drinking water are safeguarded, while retaining the useful minerals in the water. Old limescale in pipes is gradually broken down and then disposed of in dissolved form with the tap water.
Placing softener after water meter
The field windings should preferably be installed after the water meter. This does not require you to interrupt the water supply.
Using the material provided, make two coils of 10 windings each around the tube. This is described in the manual provided, with illustrations. Leave approx. 10 cm of free space between the two windings. Optimal distance: 3 to 4 times the pipe diameter.
For metal and plastic pipes
The electronic descaler works on pipes made of iron, copper, stainless steel, steel and plastic (PVC). It makes no difference whether this pipe runs horizontally or vertically.
A right-angled bend midway between the two windings is allowed. Place the softener nearby, at a maximum distance of 50 cm from the pipe.
