Float switch with changeover contact (NO/NC). For water and various liquids
This robust float switch with a changeover contact (NO/NC) is suitable for detecting levels in almost all types of water: mains water, rainwater, wastewater, and various other liquids or chemicals. Not suitable for diesel and oil.
The mounting height determines the exact switching point of the sensor, allowing it to be easily adjusted to your installation.
Applications
- Level detection for non-conductive water (such as demineralised water)
- Alarm notification when a tank goes above or below a set level
- Potential-free changeover contact for level control in technical installations
- Float sensor for alarm units or detection systems
This float switch can be connected to alarm annuciators as an alternative to a water sensor or detection tape. Thanks to the changeover contact (NO + NC), it can also be directly linked to a GSM alert device.
With a rising water level, the float rises and activates the internal reed contact. The robust 3-wire signal cable can be extended to approx. 50 metres.
Please note: the volt-free contact is not suitable for switching mains voltage.
