This powerful 230V heating cable has been developed for applications where a reliable and even heat output is required. The cable features a strong, flexible construction and a durable outer jacket that is resistant to intensive use. Thanks to the pre-assembled watertight joints and the 2.5-metre cold lead-in cable, the cable is simple and safe to install.
The heating cable is particularly suitable for underfloor heating in screed and concrete floors, but can also be used for patio heating and various frost protection applications.
Suitable for underfloor heating
With a heat output of 20 Watts per metre, this heating cable ensures efficient and even heating of floors. The cable can be incorporated directly into cement-based screeds and concrete structures, creating a sustainable heating solution with a long lifespan.
This cable is also a reliable choice for heating patios and outdoor areas. It helps to limit the formation of ice and snow, keeping surfaces safe to walk on for longer.
Suitable for frost protection
Alongside underfloor heating, this heating cable can also be used for frost protection of gutters, roof structures and other open installations, among other things. The cable may be used at ambient temperatures up to approximately +10 °C, provided the heat produced can be sufficiently dissipated.
For safe operation, a sufficient distance must always be maintained between the hot cable parts. A minimum loop spacing of 50 mm prevents local overheating and contributes to optimal heat distribution.
Easy installation
The cable is equipped with waterproof factory-fitted connections and a 2.5-metre cold tail that does not heat up. This allows the connection to be safely positioned outside the heated section. The robust construction ensures reliable operation, even in demanding conditions.
In certain situations, the cable may be technically shortened to a maximum of 10% of its original length. This is permitted only for dry applications and provided that electrical safety remains fully guaranteed.
Temperature control compulsory
For safe and energy-efficient operation, this heating cable must always be controlled by a suitable thermostat or temperature controller. This automatically monitors the temperature and prevents unnecessary energy consumption.
