The MF12 heating cable is a thin, flexible and durable heating cable for a wide range of heating and frost protection applications. Thanks to its strong synthetic outer sheath, waterproof connection joints and flat power cable, this cable is easy to install in both indoor and outdoor applications.
With a heat output of approximately 12 Watts per metre, the MF12 provides even and reliable heating. The cable is particularly suitable for underfloor heating in cement and screed floors, but can also be used in damp environments and outdoor situations where frost protection or soil heating is required.

Flexible and easy to process
The cable features a flat connection cable of only 4 mm thick, making it easy to conceal in floors and structures. The flexible construction allows for a quick and neat installation, even over larger surfaces or with complex laying patterns.
For safe operation, a minimum distance of 5 cm must always be maintained between the heating loops during installation. This prevents local overheating and keeps the heat distribution optimal.
Heating capacity and load-bearing capacity
The MF12 delivers approximately 12 Watts per metre of cable length as standard. Under conditions where heat can be dissipated effectively, the cable can be loaded up to a maximum of 20 Watts per metre.
For efficient and safe operation, this heating cable must always be combined with a suitable temperature control or thermostat. This ensures that the desired temperature is precisely regulated and prevents unnecessary energy consumption.
Customisable length
A key advantage of the MF12 heating cable is that it can be cut to a maximum of 60% of its original length. This allows the cable to be better tailored to the available space and the required power output.
When shortening, the correct installation and insulation instructions must be strictly followed to ensure safe operation.
