Product description
Does your powerful angle grinder, powerful compressor or powerful pump trip the fuse when you switch it on? Here is the solution!
We are talking about inrush current, i.e. the electrical current that flows directly after a powerful device is switched on. This is often many times higher than the nominal current and stresses the network and connected consumers equally. This can lead to undesirable effects, such as tripping fuses and circuit breakers or overloading the entire system. The inrush current limiter SCL 3680 offers a solution here, briefly reducing the high inrush currents to prevent fuses from tripping.
Applications
Function
The SCL 3680 inrush current limiter prevents the fuse from blowing when switching on high-power consumers. The adapter plug reduces the typical load peaks of high-consumption devices when switching on.
Example application
Inrush current limitation for angle grinders, circular saws, compressors, pumps, or drills and other high-power consumers.
Features
The inrush current limiter is suitable for circuits with a 16 A fuse.
