Small float switch: compact level sensor for water and various liquids

This small float switch is suitable for tap water, rainwater, demineralised water and wastewater. Both available versions can also be used for level detection in liquids such as diesel, petrol and oil.

When the liquid level rises, the float moves upwards and closes the internal switch contact. The mounting height determines the exact switching point.

Level and alarm notification via GSM

A GSM detector has two inputs to which you can connect individual floats. This allows you to monitor liquid levels remotely via SMS notifications.

Switching function NO / NC

When the switching point is reached, the contact opens or closes. The desired function is determined by the mounting method:

• NO (normally open) – switches on at rising level
• NC (normally closed) – switches off at rising level

By inverting the float, the switching function is changed. This can easily be checked with a multimeter. The 2-wire signal cable can be extended to approx. 50 metres.

Please note: this float sensor is not suitable for switching 230V mains voltage.
