The Mobeye Night Frost Detectors are a reliable help for growers and gardeners. In spring, the temperature detector warns of approaching night frost. The Mobeye detector wakes up contacts as soon as the set temperature is reached. The grower can then determine whether the blossom should be protected.
It has a sensor that can measure whether the temperature falls below the critical value. In case of frost alarm, you will immediately receive a notification on your communication detector so that you can take timely action to prevent frost damage (e.g. fruit trees). The night frost alarm continuously monitors the outside temperature and records any changes at the place where you place it.

Night frost detector for outdoor use
The night frost detector has a waterproof housing, with a sensor attached to a cable. Connection wires are not applicable as the detector works on built-in batteries. This makes it easy to change measurement locations. It is important that there is GSM coverage. You can easily test this beforehand.
Sim card for night frost alarm
The Wireless Night Frost Detector contains a 4G communication module, for which you can use any normal SIM card. It is suitable for a GSM subscription, as well as a prepaid card. To receive an alarm, you can enter 1 to 5 different numbers, both to mobile phones and landlines.
Night frost notification to mobile phone
In case of freezing danger, the night frost alarm sends the user-set SMS message and/or a call. In case of an alarm, 1 to 5 different phone numbers can be called. As soon as one of these accepts the alarm call, calls to the other numbers stop.
The Mobeye CM4200X gives only an alarm, with repetitions if necessary. In addition to alarms, the CML4275 displays temperature progression online on the phone. Once in alarm status, the graph is refreshed every few minutes. The detectors can run on batteries for long periods of time. The temperature sensor is factory calibrated.
4G battery-powered communication detector
The night frost detector runs on batteries and also indicates when they are low. The batteries are included in the delivery and last for 1 year with normal use.
Night frost detector setting options
Switching on the night frost alarm can be time-controlled (automatically) or manual (via your mobile phone). This night frost alarm is also suitable for other applications, thanks to its wide temperature range and robust housing. Examples include agricultural applications, such as animal housing and product storage areas. The frost detector has functions for alarm texts and alarm repeat or delay. Operate directly from your own smartphone. No laptop connection or wiring is required to set it up. With a normal SIM card (provider of your choice, e.g. Simyo), it can be used immediately.
TIP: Using your own mobile phone, you can check in advance whether the mobile network signal is sufficiently strong at the desired location.
NB: purchase the SIM card (of your choice) yourself 2G or from the manufacturer with 4G).

Added value sim/portal
As a SIM card, we recommend activating the included Mobeye SIM card. With this, the device communicates via both 4G LTE-M and 2G and ís “multi-provider”. It chooses the strongest network on site, has very good penetrability and thus gives a reliable connection. With the Mobeye SIM card, the device is also connected to the Mobeye Portal and the Mobeye Messages app. This gives extra security and user-friendliness. The dashboard shows the status of one or more devices at a glance. Programming is done online, incoming test messages are checked automatically, in case of problems contacts are alerted via app, call, SMS and/or e-mail. Forwarding to a control room (PAC) is also possible. The SIM card costs €4/month* excluding VAT (flat fee for normal use), (annual) payment is online, or -on request- by invoice. An own SIM card is also possible (NL: KPN or Vodafone, no t-Mobile or subsidiaries). The device then works (only) via 2G and the Mobeye Portal functions are cancelled. On alarm it will call and/or text (to max. 5 numbers). Note that a prepaid card expires if the card is not used for too long.
