Very convenient on/off temperature switch for heating and cooling. Based on the set switch-on and switch-off temperature, the controller automatically determines whether to heat or cool.
You can set the ON and OFF temperature separately, to any value between -55 and +125 degrees. In practice, a few degrees difference is enough to prevent commuting. The temperature switch has a 230 Volt ‘socket’ output.
Choose from 3 different sensors
Click in option bar for desired temperature sensor and view pictures for version:
- TS1 = standard sensor in metal housing
- TS2 = plastic sensor (not for salt or sea water)
- TS7 = waterproof metal sensor
Standard delivery includes a temperature sensor type TS1. This is the universal metal version with mounting hole. The plastic sensor and a waterproof metal sensor may be permanently submerged, e.g. in an aquarium or pond.
You can just touch the metal sensors (operate at very low voltage). Each sensor has a 2m connection wire, which may be extended up to 50m. (This can be done with UTP data cable with RJ45 plug)
Applications
Controls frost guard, radiant heater, electric radiator, other electric heating up to 3000 watts. Also useful as a digital thermometer, in an animal house or cold room, for example.
This temperature switch is great to use as a central heating pump switch, for precise control of the circulation pump. This allows you to save a lot of energy. Alternative: the socket pump switch.
Memory for temperatures and setting
The temperature switch has a memory for the highest and lowest measured temperature. Attractive plastic housing, intended for wall mounting. With 16 amp switching relay and LED indicator lights: heating/cooling/power on.
Fault message in case of interrupted or short-circuited sensor. Set temperatures remain in memory even if the mains voltage is lost!
