Product description
Automatic switch for two electrical appliances. Specifically designed for DIN rail mounting. Standard delivery includes a 2-metre long Pt1000 sensor (extendable up to a maximum of 50 metres). PT1000 sensors operate without a power supply and are accurate even when the 2-wire connection cable is extended. The switching temperature is adjustable in one-degree Celsius increments. The displayed temperature shows one decimal place. This temperature switch is very easy to operate. It can also be used as a thermometer and has a memory for the highest and lowest recorded temperatures. The temperature controller's adjustment range is wide, making it suitable for frost protection as well as a variety of applications involving electric heating, including heating cables.
Applications
Adjustable hysteresis
The switching accuracy is freely adjustable from 0.1 °C to 10 °C. Application examples DIN rail temperature switch Pt1000: Replacement for defective thermostats in heating systems, as a backup control for air conditioners, for monitoring and controlling temperatures, for example in the production of beers and spirits or in greenhouses for temperature-controlled ventilation. When used for frost protection, the connected device or heating cable will only receive mains voltage if the ambient temperature falls below the switching temperature you have set. A value of 3 to 5 °C is common. You can easily adjust this.
Memory for set values
The DIN temperature switch has a memory for its settings. All menu values are retained when the mains power fails, meaning they stay saved even if you unplug it. There are no LED indicator lights, but on the display, you can read the current temperature, among other things. Furthermore, this temperature switch provides an error notification if there is a problem with the sensor (or its wiring).
Please note: Basic knowledge of electronics is recommended for this product.
