From a central location in a building (home, shop, catering, office), this water alarm permanently monitors a number of different areas. This water alarm has inputs for 1, 2, 3 or 4 water sensors. Each sensor has its own indicator light. The water alarm control unit has many features, such as the built-in buzzer and a memory function. You can activate these separately for each channel.
Applications
Water alarm locates leak site
If a report of flooding or leakage comes in, you will immediately see in which room it happens, e.g. basement, bathroom, garage or central heating room. In the event of an alarm, the light on the relevant sensor comes on. This is particularly useful for spaces that are difficult to access, such as compartments in a houseboat.
Level control in tank or basin
The central water alarm has 4 separate sensor inputs and therefore you can also use it as a level indicator, e.g. for an (underground) water basin. To do this, you place 2, 3 or 4 sensors at different heights, e.g. 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%.
Expansion module with 4 switching contacts
The water alarm has 4 inputs with indicator lights and one (1) common alarm contact. With the optional switching module, you obtain a separate alarm contact for each channel. This switching module fits inside the cabinet of the water alarm centre.
Supply voltage: 230 V or low voltage
The water alarm operates on mains voltage but continues to work during a power failure, if you have installed a 9 Volt battery. As an option, this water alarm is also available for 12 to 24 Volt DC voltage, e.g. for use on a boat. Via the potential-free switching contact, an alarm system, telephone dialer, solenoid valve and/or solenoid valve can be controlled. Connection to a GSM alarm indicator or a (burglar) alarm system is also possible.
Delivery includes instructions, screws and dowels for wall mounting. Water sensor(and) to be ordered separately! The sensor cables may be extended up to 50 m, with telephone cable or a 2-wire cable (0.75...1.5 mm²).
