Water alarm switches ON or OFF & telephone notification
This socket-water alarm can (according to your choice) switch on or off a device as soon as its sensor detects water. After water detection, you will also receive a notification on your mobile phone. You simply choose the desired switching function with a button on the side of the water alarm.

Applications
Controlling/protecting 230 V devices
SWITCH ON: in the event of a water leak, a 230V pump is automatically energised. It is also possible to activate a 230V flashing light or alarm horn in the event of an alarm. As soon as the sensor detects water, mains voltage is applied to the output and the green LED lights up.
SHUT OFF: Use this function mode for a washing machine or an electric boiler. Also suitable for kitchen appliances, such as coffee machines. When you plug it in, the mains voltage is automatically disconnected if there is water on the floor. The alarm will then beep and the green LED will go out.
Indicator lights and alarm tone
When a water alarm is triggered, the red LED flashes and a sharp alarm tone sounds. The loudness is adjustable in 3 steps. This audible alarm stops only after pressing the Reset button.
Notification via an app
After the sensor detects water, the device will send a push notification to a mobile phone via the Wi-Fi network so that action can be taken immediately.
Placement in the socket
You place the water alarm IN-OFF between a wall socket and the power cord of the device to be switched. If the green LED lights up, this means that mains voltage is being transmitted. This water alarm is equipped with protective earth.
Water sensor with 2 m cable
The water sensor is permanently connected to the alarm unit with a flexible 2-metre cable. You place the sensor on the floor (leakage) or the place (level) where you want to detect water.
Delivery includes a plug with screw for fixing the sensor. This may be done horizontally or vertically. With a knife or other metal object on the contacts of the sensor, you can easily check whether the water alarm switches correctly.
