This thermostat automatically switches on a heating cable or electric heater before frost sets in. Using an external sensor (on a 3m cable), it continuously measures the ambient temperature. As soon as the risk of frost has passed, there will be no power consumption.

Winter thermostat provides safety
The thermostat is an ideal solution for holiday homes, static caravans, etc., where no one is usually present in the winter. The compact thermostat fits into the socket. It is suitable for all types of electric heating up to 3600 Watts, such as, for example, an oil-filled radiator on 230 Volts.
Set temperature yourself?
The winter thermostat switches on as soon as the temperature drops below +3 °C. It will only switch off again once the temperature has been above +5 °C for at least 1 hour. This delay is necessary to provide protection against rapid and slow temperature fluctuations during a frost period. Tip: Choose the Temperature Switch 230V When you want to set both the ON and OFF temperatures yourself. ALTERNATIVE: TC-500 THERMOSTAT. With the TC-500, you have more options and can, for example, set your own switching temperatures. The TC-500 is also available in a WiFi version, which allows you to manage everything remotely with an app.
Easy to use
You plug the thermostat into the socket and then plug the heater's plug into the thermostat's socket. You can see whether the heater is switched on or off by the indicator light.
