Product description
The WPS 3000 water level controller is a reliable solution for monitoring and regulating water levels in a wide range of applications. Thanks to the integrated 230V output, the system can directly control a pump, valve or alarm system as soon as water is detected.
The system is suitable for preventing flooding and for automatically managing water levels in cellars, pump sumps, rainwater tanks, ponds and aquariums, among other applications. With the adjustable overrun time, you can precisely determine how long a connected pump continues to run after the sensor has detected water. This ensures efficient water drainage without the pump running dry unnecessarily.
The delivery includes a water sensor with a 10-metre connection cable. Depending on the application, you can choose between a standard plastic sensor or a robust stainless steel version.
Applications
The water level control system is suitable for:
- Pump chambers and drainage sumps
- Cellars and crawl spaces
- Rainwater harvesting systems
- Ponds and water reservoirs
- Aquaria and technical installations
- Overflow and flood protection
By placing the sensor at the desired height, the switching point is easily determined. As soon as the water level reaches the sensor, the control system automatically activates the connected equipment.
Adjustable pump overrun
Using two rotary knobs, the off-delay can be precisely set between 1 second and 10 minutes. This allows a connected pump to remain active for some time after the water level has dropped. This ensures efficient water drainage and limits the risk of wear or dry-running of the pump.
When the water level rises again later and reaches the sensor, a new switching cycle starts automatically.
Flexible switching operation
Using the switch on the front panel, you can choose between switching on or off upon water detection. As a result, the system is not only suitable for activating pumps, but also, for example, for switching off equipment or controlling an electric shut-off valve.
Simple status check
The built-in LED indication makes the operation of the system immediately visible:
- Green LED: supply voltage present
- Red LED: water detected
- Yellow LED: relay active
