Underfloor heating for motorhome
Thin underfloor heating in the form of foil. Operates on a safe low voltage of 24 Volt. Easy to apply under the floor covering of a motorhome or caravan.
Underfloor heating and Watt
The heat capacity of this foil is 100 Watt per m². A higher power is not justified because of the floor covering. Tip: place insulation boards under the foil, as far as possible, to make optimal use of the heat.
Applications
Prefab sets, cut to length yourself
This camper floor heating is available in six different lengths. If necessary, you can shorten the foil length, simply with a pair of scissors. Then insulate the end again with tape! (You cannot change the width: so measure carefully before ordering) The foil is available in strips with a FIXED width of 20cm, 40cm and 60 cm. Delivery includes 2 insulated connection wires of 2.5 m (shortening/cutting allowed).
Matching lightweight power supply
You can order a 24 Volt power supply especially for this heating foil. This has connection terminals for 3 prefab sets up to a total surface of 3 m².
Installation instructions for heat foil
- Apply on a flat surface, preferably an insulated subfloor
- Do not kink any heavy or sharp objects on the film or material
- Apply only under uncovered parts of the floor covering
- Several strips can be connected to one 24 V mains supply of sufficient power
