Underfloor heating for 12 volts
Floor heating in the form of thin foil. Operates on safe 12 Volt low voltage. Easy to apply under carpets in motorhome, caravan or boat. Tip: Click for 24 Volt heating foil.
Underfloor heating and power
The heat output of this film is 55 or 110 watts per m². More power is not safe because of the floor covering on top. Tip: use insulation boards (if possible) under the foil so that the heat emitted is used optimally.
Applications
Prefabricated strips, cut to length yourself
The 12-volt underfloor heating is available in various lengths. If necessary, you can shorten the foil length, simply with scissors. Then re-insulate the end with electrical tape! (You cannot change the width: so measure carefully before ordering). The foil is available in strips with a FIXED width per 15cm or 20cm. Delivery is possible with a choice of different connection cables, see options.
Matching mains power supply or transformer
Especially for this heating foil, there is a 12 Volt power supply with connection terminals for 3 prefab sets. This has a built-in fan, which makes noise. Alternative is a silent transformer, with the disadvantage of slightly more weight.
Mounting instructions for heat film
-Apply on level substrate, preferably an insulated subfloor.
-No heavy or sharp objects on the film and material do not buckle.
-Only apply under uncovered parts of the floor covering.
-Multiple strips can run on one 12 V mains supply or transformer (check power).
NB: Returns are not possible as this is a custom-made item. Of course, the normal guarantee scheme applies.
