The temperature controller automatically determines whether heating or cooling is required based on the set value. To prevent continuous cycling on and off, the user can set the hysteresis. In practice, a difference of 2 or 3 degrees Celsius is usually sufficient.
The 230 Volt Temperature Controller comes with an external sensor that is waterproof and has a safely touchable metal end. The 2-meter connection cable can be extended up to 50 meters if desired. This allows for precise temperature control, even in humid environments.
In addition to controlling heating devices such as a radiant heater or electric radiator, it is also possible to control electric frost protection, such as a defrosting cable or frost guard.
