In case one smoke detector is enough, the Mobeye CM4400 is suitable. It consists of an Ei Electronics smoke detector with 10-year lithium battery, and the Mobeye 4G LTE-M/2G communication module (1-year battery) as a backplate.
The Mobeye CM4400 2G/4G smoke detector kit is a cost-effective, uncomplicated and reliable solution. The Mobeye Smoke Detector has an additional security function. In case of fire the siren sounds and a telephone notification goes to contacts. The battery-powered smoke detector gives a notification to the telephone with a siren on the spot. Due to the backup battery in the CM4100, power failure is also sent as a notification. For additional confirmation, you can use a separate
GSM mains adapter that also transmits an alarm notification the moment the mains power is cut.
Applications
The Mobeye CM4400 operates autonomously on batteries and can therefore be used anywhere. The Ei Electronics smoke detector has a 10-year lithium battery. The communication detector runs for over a year on 2x CR123 batteries. To power it externally, the external voltage module AC-FA-EPEU is required. This accessory fits into the unit and comes with a power adapter and the whole unit is screwed to the ceiling.
The main applications for this smoke detector are places where there is little passenger traffic, and thus good security measures are needed. Examples include residential homes, vacant properties, vulnerable people and hotels with compulsory attendance. In these applications, it is important that you are able to have the smoke detector on and on at all times. Our
temperature sensor is an essence here, as it serves as a spare part.

Tip: If you are not able to guarantee a constant presence, it is strongly recommended to consider
the fire detector with an RF module. The RF module is placed on the current thermostat connection or near the boiler. This creates the connection needed to remotely control the thermostat.
