Product description
Compact on/off temperature switch, for heating or cooling. Based on the set temperatures, the controller automatically determines the mode: heating or cooling.
You can set any temperature (both ON and OFF), between -55 and +125 degrees. Supplied as standard with a metal sensor with plug connection.
Applications
Control frost protection, radiant heater, electric radiator or other electric heating up to 1,000 watts in vessels and vehicles. Operates on a 12-volt battery.
Switching from 230 V or other voltages is possible thanks to voltage-free switching contact. Also suitable as a digital thermometer, e.g. in an animal shelter or cold room.
The 12V temperature switch has a memory for the highest and lowest measured temperature. Plastic housing, intended for installation in recess of e.g. a metal plate. With switching relay and LED indicators: heating/cooling/power on.
For larger switching capacities and surface-mounted versions, there is the Temperature Switch 230V, with the same features.
Choose from various sensors
Standard delivery includes a metal temperature sensor. As an option, you can order a special sensor suitable for temperature measurement of water, e.g. in an aquarium or pond.
If the sensor is interrupted or short-circuited, this temperature switch gives a fault message.
Memory for all settings
Set temperatures remain in memory even if the power supply fails!
You can simply touch the sensor (it operates on very low voltage) and the 2 m connecting wire may be extended up to 50 m.
