The Mobeye WaterGuard is an effective and user-friendly alarm detector for detecting water-based liquids. In an alarm situation, it sends notifications via push message, telephone call, SMS or e-mail.
The spill alarm with SMS is a compact and reliable system specially designed to detect water leaks in places where mains power is not available, such as spills on boats. The alarm features a sensitive electronic water sensor and a built-in GSM alarm, allowing it to communicate directly over the GSM network.
Thanks to the sensitive water sensor, the spill alarm can accurately detect water as soon as the sensor gets wet. The system uses the GSM network to instantly send an SMS message when a leakage is detected.

Functionalities
The water sensor is connected to the leakage alarm via a flexible cable with a plug connector. As an additional option, extension cables of 5 or 10 meters are available, increasing the maximum distance between the sensor and the GSM alarm to 11.5 meters. This provides flexibility in placing the sensor in the desired location.
Battery powered water detector
The Mobeye WaterGuard monitors water levels in the basement, pump house, boat, and other critical locations. Additional inputs can monitor a pump, fault signal, and power supply. Operates battery powered or on external power.
With a set of batteries, the spill alarm can keep working for at least 1 year, and it even sends an SMS message when the batteries are low. The system can also be connected to an external 12 Vdc power supply, such as the battery voltage of the boat or camper/caravan, and can even detect power failure, which is often an indication that something unusual is going on.
Alarms
The spill alarm also offers several other features and capabilities, including setting automatic on and off times, personalizing alarm texts by input, setting alarm delays, performing test notifications and more. Batteries are included, making the system ready to use immediately.
You can use the GSM water alarm completely standalone with a 2G SIM card (subscription or prepaid). Included in the package is a Mobeye SIM card (4G), which you can activate online for a subscription to the Mobeye Internet Portal. This gives you access to extra functions, such as online programming and monitoring of test messages. This can be particularly interesting for marinas or other situations where more extensive monitoring and management is desired.

Added value sim/portal
As a sim card we advise to activate the included Mobeye sim card. With this the device communicates via 4G LTE-M as well as 2G and ís “multi-provider”. It chooses the strongest network on site, has a very good penetrability and thus gives a reliable connection. With the Mobeye SIM card the device is also connected to the Mobeye Portal and the Mobeye Messages app. This gives extra security and user-friendliness. The dashboard shows the status of one or more devices at a glance. Programming is done online, incoming test messages are automatically checked, in case of problems contacts are warned via app, call, SMS and/or e-mail. Forwarding to a monitoring center (PAC) is also possible. The SIM card costs € 4/month* excluding VAT (flat fee for normal use), (annual) payment is online, or -on request- on invoice. An own simcard is also possible (NL: KPN or Vodafone, no t-Mobile or subsidiaries). The device then works (only) via 2G and the Mobeye Portal functions are no longer required. At alarm it will call and/or sms (to max. 5 numbers). Please note that a prepaid card expires if the card is not used for too long.
