Removing limescale can be done in different ways. The electronic softener is a modern method of limescale removal.

This device literally solves limescale problems. It is powerful enough for the entire installation in a home or restaurant. Tip: also check the lime neutralizer.

Operating principle electronic descaler

The electronic softener contains a signal generator that creates a magnetic field around and in the water pipe, based on capacitive pulse technology. This field has a variable resonance frequency, so that the water in the tube loses its tendency to scale.

The lime particles are bound to the iron particles, after which they come out with the water. This technology gives better results than an anti-calc magnet or an electromagnetic anti-calcifier.

The electronic descaler works completely maintenance-free, but is not suitable for installation in humid areas. The generator is microprocessor controlled and you can set it to six different frequency ranges. This selects the most effective setting for your own situation.

The optimum setting depends, among other things, on the hardness of the water, the flow rate, the pipe material and the diameter of the pipe.

Tip: first choose the automatic mode and try later (after at least 2 months) whether one of the other modes gives better results. Choose the highest frequency if the water is very hard.

The quality of drinking water

Electronic water treatment is not only effective, but also environmentally friendly. The most important argument is that no substances are extracted or added to the water. The quality and composition of the drinking water are guaranteed, while the useful minerals in the water are preserved. The old limescale in pipes is gradually broken down and then discharged in dissolved form with the tap water.

Place softener after the water meter

You should preferably mount the field windings after the water meter. You do not have to interrupt the water supply for this.

With the supplied material you make two coils of 10 turns each around the tube. This is described in the supplied manual, with illustrations. Leave approx. 10 cm free space between the two windings. Optimal distance: 3 to 4 times the pipe diameter.

For metal and plastic pipes

The electronic descaler works on pipes made of iron, copper, stainless steel, steel and plastic (PVC). It makes no difference whether this pipe runs horizontally or vertically.

A right angle bend in the middle between the two windings is allowed. Place the softener in close proximity, at a maximum distance of 50 cm from the pipe.
