Product description
The Mobeye PowerGuard is strong in simplicity and functionality. This power guard informs you in case of power failure or an activated sensor via a push message, telephone call, text message or e-mail.
The Mobeye PowerGuard ensures safety and security by monitoring whether devices are functioning and the external power supply is in order. In case of problems, you will be notified. Until then you can focus on your primary tasks.
As soon as the 230-volt mains power supply fails, you will receive an SMS, push notification* or telephone call. For the alarm, you can set up to 1 to 5 different phone numbers, which are called sequentially. Does someone answer the call? Then the other numbers are no longer called!
Applications
- Machine monitoring
- Intruder alarm
- 230 V fire alarm detector
- Aggregate monitoring
Functionalities
User-friendly power failure detector
In addition to a 12-24V DC input, the Mobeye PowerGuard (CM4100) has two NO/NC inputs for connecting alarm contacts and sensors. With these it monitors the status of a device or external sensor, and monitors the functioning of a machine or the condition of sensors
If the power fails (due to a mains failure, plant defect, sabotage or other cause), the GSM detector sends an alarm. You can set the response time, to prevent an alarm in case of a short-term power failure.
Other possibilities: alarm delay, idle time after alarm, repeat time for alarm messages, test messages, low battery notification. Various SMS texts can be set by yourself.
Pre-programmed settings
The most commonly used values are already set at the factory. You only have to program what you want to change and at least one cell phone number.
This programming is done by SMS messages from the first phone number. This is the number of the administrator. So the other phone numbers (if entered) cannot change anything about your settings.
The voltage input can be connected to the included AC adapter, or a regulated 12-24V DC voltage source. If the voltage drops, a notification follows. The internal batteries ensure that the alarm detector continues to operate for an extended period of time. The PowerGuard continues to monitor the inputs and will still transmit alarm messages. Once power is restored, a notification also follows.
Advantages of this GSM detector
The GSM detector is special because of its extremely low weight, reliability and stability. Fully equipped with European manufacture and a full Dutch manual! Click for other GSM alarm detectors or power failure detectors.

Added value sim/portal
As a sim card we advise to activate the included Mobeye sim card. With this the device communicates via 4G LTE-M as well as 2G and ís “multi-provider”. It chooses the strongest network on site, has a very good penetrability and thus gives a reliable connection. With the Mobeye SIM card the device is also connected to the Mobeye Portal and the Mobeye Messages app. This gives extra security and user-friendliness. The dashboard shows the status of one or more devices at a glance. Programming is done online, incoming test messages are automatically checked, in case of problems contacts are warned via app, call, SMS and/or e-mail. Forwarding to a monitoring center (PAC) is also possible. The SIM card costs € 4/month* excluding VAT (flat fee for normal use), (annual) payment is online, or -on request- on invoice. Deployable throughout Europe. *Note: prices may vary. See link below for current prices.
An own simcard is also possible (NL: KPN or Vodafone, no t-Mobile or subsidiaries). The device then works (only) via 2G and the Mobeye Portal functions are no longer required. At alarm it will call and/or sms (to max. 5 numbers). Please note that a prepaid card expires if the card is not used for too long.
