We are talking about the inrush current, i.e. the electric current that runs immediately after a powerful device is switched on. This is often many times higher than the rated current and puts an even load on the network and connected consumers. This can lead to undesirable effects, such as blowing fuses and circuit breakers or overloading the entire system. The inrush current limiter SCL 3680 offers a solution here, briefly reducing the high inrush currents to prevent the fuse from blowing.

Function:

The inrush current limiter SCL 3680 prevents the fuse from blowing when powerful consumers are switched on. When switched on, the adapter plug reduces the typical load peaks of high-consumption devices.

Application example:

Inrush current limitation of angle grinders, circular saws, compressors, pumps or drills and other powerful consumers.
