Product description
When the sensor runs dry, this low water alarm will cut the power to the pond pump. The switching point (minimum permissible water level) is freely adjustable.
Applications
Pond pump stops when pond becomes empty
As long as the sensor remains under water (i.e. wet), the socket provides voltage for the 230 Volt pump. You determine the switch-off level yourself with the placement (height) of the sensor.
If the water drops to this level (regardless of the cause), the sensor will run dry and the pond pump will automatically turn off. This system is suitable for 230V devices, such as a circulation pump for a filter.
Low water alarm
In the normal situation, a wet sensor provides mains voltage at the output. However, do you want a warning (alarm) if the water in the pond has dropped too far?
To connect an alarm siren or a flash lamp (optical alarm), you must convert the wire on L1 of the relay to L2 in the device, as described in the manual.
Install low water alarm
The low water alarm has a delay of approximately 20 seconds, which prevents the pump from 'cycling' (continuous cycling on and off).
The plastic housing is not suitable for outdoor installation. So place or build in the box inside, to protect against the weather conditions. The supplied water sensor is fitted with a plastic mounting bracket and has a 10 m connection cable.
