Product description
Nothing is as annoying as a completely fogged-up mirror after showering. Not only will you not be able to see anything in the mirror, but if the fogged mirror is not cleaned immediately, in the long run ugly stains will appear on your beautiful mirror.
Condensation on the bathroom mirror is caused by the temperature difference between the bathroom and the mirror. After showering, warm moisture settles on the colder mirror and condensation forms visibly. Fortunately, this annoying problem is very easy to prevent with mirror heating foil.

How does mirror heating work?
Mirror heating foil is a very thin and special foil that you stick to the back of the mirror. The foil consists of double-insulated heating elements that keep the mirror at temperature when the mirror heating is switched on. This eliminates the temperature difference and thus keeps the mirror condensation-free.
The heating element operates at 230 volts and can be connected directly to the light switch of your bathroom or vanity unit. Thanks to the 2Heat Mirror Heater, a clear view of and with your personal care is therefore guaranteed from now on. With 2HEAT's easy-to-install mirror heating element, you can keep your mirror condensation-free. This mirror heater is suitable for any mirror, economical to use and absolutely (child ) safe. Suitable for most types of mirrors.
Applications
The mirror heating film is available in 6 standard sizes. So your mirror may have different dimensions. You cannot cut the foil to size yourself, so it is important to choose a smaller size than the size of your bathroom mirror. However, it is possible to take two smaller elements and connect them in parallel.
Of course, it is also possible to heat only part of the mirror from a large mirror, for example at eye level. This keeps the part of the mirror you often use free of condensation. The downside is that in the long run, the condensation on the rest of the mirror can still cause stains.
Installing mirror heating
Mirror heating is easy to install yourself. With the steps below, you are assured of a quick and correct assembly:
1. Choose the place where you want the mirror heating. If it will only cover part of the mirror, the middle or eye level is usually the right place.
2. Mark on the back of the mirror where the heating element should go
3. Remove the sticker foil from the heating element and stick it to the back of the bathroom mirror
4. Rub the foil from the inside out to properly remove any air bubbles so that the foil fits snugly to the mirror everywhere.
Connecting mirror heating
After installation, the mirror heating still needs to be connected to a switchable 230V power supply. The most user-friendly way is to connect the mirror heating to the light switch. When someone turns on the light, the mirror is then immediately heated as well. You can then be sure that the mirror never fogs up.
The other option is to connect the mirror heating to its own switch. The advantage of this is that it does not switch on unnecessarily while brushing your teeth or visiting the toilet, for example. The disadvantage, however, is that you then always have to remember to switch on the mirror heating when you take a shower.
