Applications

Patio heating in the hospitality industry has been hard to imagine without for a long time. But especially now in the current Corona time, it is very important to many entrepreneurs in the catering industry to continue to use the outdoor space at their business for as long as possible.

Infrared patio heating is easy to install. The big advantage of this type of heating is that it does not take up any space on the terrace. This means that there is free passage for staff and guests at all times.

The FP1800 radiator is a so-called short wave radiator. This type is most suitable for outdoor use, e.g. for a terrace, but also in a garden house at home.

The patio heater is IP65 and therefore extremely suitable for outdoor use. The heater is available in a stainless steel version and with this look it always fits on every terrace.

Due to the low glare lamp, this heater provides a pleasant warmth without the annoying extremely bright radiation of light. A pleasant orange glow is created. The heater can be set to three heat settings with the supplied remote control. If you have several of these types of heaters, you can operate them with one remote control.

Infrared is very suitable as patio heating because you can use it to heat specific areas. The power you need is determined by the size of the terrace, but also on how many sides the terrace is open. On average, you can assume a heating surface of approximately 10-12 m².

Short wave radiators should be mounted at least 1.8 meters above the ground. This is for safety reasons. The lamps get very hot. If you want to hang two infrared heaters next to each other, assume an intermediate distance of approximately 2-3 meters for optimal coverage. Installation is very easy with the included mounting brackets.
