Grundfos Direct Sensors™ (solar/drinking water)

VFS Grundfos Direct Sensors™ measure temperature and capacity with a single measuring element. Based on the vortex principle, the sensor measures capacity based on the pressure differences caused by the fluid swirls that occur at the insert. Grundfos Direct Sensors™ can be used in both industrial and domestic water, making them ideal for measuring capacity and heat rate in solar thermal and heating systems.

The digital VFD Grundfos Direct Sensors™ measure temperature and capacity with a single measurement element and then transmit the measured values directly via the RESOL VBus® protocol. Grundfos Direct Sensors™ can be used in both industrial and domestic water, making them ideal for measuring capacity and heat quantity in solar thermal and heating systems. VFD 1 - 12 l are designed for low capacity systems. VFD 2 - 40 l are designed for higher capacity systems. Because of its fast response time, the VFD 2 - 40 l fast is ideal for potable water exchange modules.
