Grundfos Direct Sensors™ (Solar/Drinking Water)

VFS Grundfos Direct Sensors™ measure temperature and capacitance with a single measuring element. Based on the vortex principle, the sensor measures the capacity based on the pressure differences caused by the fluid vortices that occur at the insert. Grundfos Direct Sensors™ can be used in both industrial and domestic water and are therefore ideal for measuring capacity and heat quantity in solar thermal and heating systems.

The digital VFD Grundfos Direct Sensors™ measure temperature and capacitance with a single measuring element and then transmit the measured values directly via the RESOL VBus® protocol. Grundfos Direct Sensors™ can be used in both industrial and domestic water and are therefore ideal for measuring capacity and heat quantity in solar thermal and heating systems. VFD 1 - 12 L are designed for low capacity systems. VFD 2 - 40 L are designed for higher capacity systems. The VFD 2 - 40 l fast is ideal for drinking water exchange modules due to its fast response time.
