Product description
Simple thermostat switch that you place between the power cord of the consumer and the socket. Based on the temperatures you set, the controller determines when to heat or cool.
You can set the temperatures for ON and OFF separately from each other. In practice, 1 or 2 degrees difference (between ON and OFF) is sufficient. The thermostat switch has a 230 V output ("socket") and a hanging eye on the back.
For comparable temperature control with more functions and extra convenience, we recommend
the Temperature Controller.
Applications
Universal thermostat switch
Control of frost guard, radiant heater, electric radiator, other electric heating and frost protection up to 2000 W. The display shows the current (measured) temperature: useful as a digital thermometer, for example in an animal house or cold room.
This switch can also control a fan or other cooling equipment: switches on when temperature has become too high and the device automatically switches off when it has cooled down sufficiently.
Resetting is easy by pressing and holding both buttons for 3 sec, until 888 appears on the display. The thermostat switch has a fixed temperature sensor on a thin cord (see photos). This metal sensor is touch-safe.
