Product description
As soon as its sensor detects water, the water level switch will activate a connected 230V device, e.g. a signal horn or pump.
The water level switch can be used as a water alarm, e.g. for the crawl space and for monitoring the water level in an aquarium, pond, rainwater buffer or water tank.
Applications
Freely adjustable switching point (level)
The location (mounting height) of the sensor determines the switching level. The water-level switch includes a time delay of approx. 20 seconds, to prevent "oscillation" (continuous short-time switching on and off).
The attractive plastic housing is intended for wall mounting, but not suitable for outdoor installation. The built-in relay can switch on any 230 V device. In alarm condition, the red LED lights up.
Switching 230 V on or off
After a small adjustment (mentioned in manual), this water level switch can switch off the output voltage of its socket when a certain water level is reached.
Sensor with adjustable sensitivity
The standard water sensor has a 10 m connecting cable. The sensor consists of 2 separated electrodes, which prevent water droplets from getting stuck between them. The distance between the electrodes can be increased or decreased by bending.
