Compact metal frost guard for heating and keeping small rooms frost-free, up to approx. 16 m³. It is one of the few heaters that can also be used in slightly damp environments, but only when used indoors.
The frost guard automatically switches on its heating element when the room temperature falls below the set temperature.
The switch-on point can be infinitely adjusted with a rotary knob*. You can check this by hearing a soft click as you turn it.

Protection against freezing

Heating for motor home and caravan
As a small convector, the frost guard is also handy for heating in motor homes, caravans, boats and small animal shelters. The housing is made entirely of metal, so no plastic side panels!
Controlling temperature of frost guard
Controlling the temperature can also be done with an external thermostat:
the Winter Thermostat (with external sensor) or the

Saving energy with a thermostat
An important advantage of external temperature control is energy saving. To do this, turn the knob of the frost heater all the way to the right, to the maximum position. The controller then takes over control, and only provides mains power below the temperature you set yourself.

*The frost guard is equipped with a bimetal thermostat. It is best to test this yourself in the room concerned. As soon as you have set the thermostat to the desired position, for example 1 or 2 etc., it will work at the desired temperature with a difference of +/- 2 degrees depending on the ambient temperature. If necessary, use a thermometer to check whether the temperature in the room is correct. The control range of the thermostat: +5 to +35 degrees, of which 1 is the lowest (5 degrees) and 6 the highest (35 degrees).
